Andrea Otte began her coffee journey in Chicago, holding a variety of positions at cafés and roasteriesbefore moving to London to pursue a MSc in Development and International Business which she obtained from Queen Mary, University of London. After finishing her degree, she worked for Twin & Twin Trading, a charity and green coffee importer focused on improving livelihoods for smallholder farmers, before joining Caravan in December 2019 as their Head of Coffee. Her biggest influences in coffee have come from the people she has met in her career and the industry’s willingness to change and grow.
