I’m Ruth Rogers, and I believe humans are amazing; they just need space to be so.

For 8 years, I ran a community cafe in East London called The Canvas that did just that.

It was forced to close in 2022.

From its ashes rises a concept that seeks to reimagine the role of a cafe on the high street, breathing life and love into neighbourhoods across the country and providing vehicles for direct giving and support.

That concept is called The Canvas of Cafes and I'm at Caffe Culture with my yellow sofa to get YOU talking about the cafes already doing GOOD in the world.
