The Trade Office of Peru in the UK, a division of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism responsible for the promotion of Peruvian products in the UK, will be launching the brand “Coffees from Peru” at Caffe Culture 2019. This brand embraces the traditional perceptions and contemporary rituals surrounding this exceptional beverage.
More than 80 microclimates make Peru one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world, where coffee is cultivated between 600 and 1800 meters above sea level, with around 75% of these plants grow above 1000 masl.
Peru has achieved a diversity of flavour profiles, aromas, quality and speciality coffees thanks to its privileged ecosystems and careful cultivation in the Peruvian highlands; protecting the traceability and sustainability of the entire coffee value chain.
As for coffee production, Peru is a top supplier of organic coffee globally, the fourth country with the most certifications of sustainability, and has become the sixth largest supplier of coffee to the UK.
In Peru, there exists an exceptional coffee for everyone.
